Poster: MDO Susan

This is for the Frosty Cool Tones color challenge by Stacy AKA "JBgreendawn." It's just about the last of the VSN26 challenges, and I used some pieces I've saved over the years. The acetate circle, seahorse and die cutting plate panel were already cut and stored in a plastic sack, waiting to be used. Lesson to self: write down the names of products when you store stuff away.

Glue circle die cut pieces on acetate and cut.
Cut seahorse out of Pacific Point and brush with Nuvo Glitter Gloss.
Cut swirly ocean plate (I don't remember the name of it) of Pool Party. Stamp it with the sentiment near the bottom.
Assemble pieces.

Great card! I love the circle background you created behind your elegant sea horse. Such a clever use of acetate!

How nice that you had pieces in the right color palette. The seahorse is fantastic, and it's a nice use of the acetate technique ( "floating...something?" I think).

You had the perfect things in stash to use for this card. I love it when that happens! Fantastic card.

The layered elements come together beautifully here. The soft cool tones in the circle give the seahorse a luminous backdrop, and the acetate adds such a clean, polished lift to the design. The shimmer on the die cut reads almost sculptural, and the swirled panel anchors everything with subtle movement. A wonderfully balanced use of saved pieces that feels intentional and fresh.

This is a wonderful card! The focal point and the wavy background are perfectly paired. The seahorse is the icing on the cake!
