JAN26VSNG = Improving your Performance - improve on a card in your gallery. I chose this card and made it more CAS, got rid of the ribbon and bow and bird, used the same dps but brought it down to a smaller size so that I had more of the white card base showing, and made it a square card which suits the size and shape of the wreath more.
I made a thin circle out of scrap green cs using two circle dies, then punched many little pine branches out of scraps of dp (mostly pieces that had images of grass or leaves on them). I glued them onto the die cut circle, added it to the background square of dp, and bordered with a square of red cs. Finished with a small die cut sentiment in the middle like the inspiration image has and red gemstones for berries. It's not the quickest card to make but I really like the final results.

Wow, Susan, this is really pretty. I like the texture of the wreath and how you used different papers to add to the texture. And using the center of the wreat as space for the sentiment helps keep the card beautifully CAS. Thanks for revising a card for my challenge.

I absolutely love this wreath you created. All the care you put into arranging those tiny branches was completely worth it. The result is truly beautiful.

Stunning card, your wreath is just awesome! I love your original card, too, but this one is over-the-top gorgeous!

I love both your wreaths. I still remember how excited I was to find that Martha Stewart punch many years ago. Ask me how many wreaths I have made with it. ...one I think. This beauty will inspire me to make another one for sure. Great take on the challenge.

The wreath you built has such wonderful depth and movement. All those tiny pine branches create a beautifully natural texture, and the smaller panel really lets the white space frame everything in a clean, elegant way. The square format suits the design perfectly, and the red accents add just the right pop. A gorgeous refinement of your original card.
