JAN26VSNK, SC1099 to the mountains
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: stampingwriter

Brenda asked for mountains in her VSN challenge. This was the first stamp I found with mountains in my stash. I used Sketch 1099 and a page from an old atlas for the main panel (sadly, the central image is right over Grand Canyon National Park). The corner pieces are embossed with a woodgrain.

I'm happy to say that I've been to the canyon. Sure would like to see more of the southwest. I love using real maps too.

Awesome! Using a map as background is clever. Thanks for playing along with the gold mining challenge.

Cool idea using an actual map as DSP.

Very clever and creative card! Love your use of the old map page, and your great interpretation of the sketch!

This is such fun. I love that you used an atlas page for the background. Fun card.

I too, have been in the area. Would like to go back. Love the idea of the atlas page as a backdrop to your mountains. Great look!

The mountain scene feels even more adventurous with the atlas page behind it, and the sketch works beautifully to frame that landscape. The woodgrain corners add just the right rustic touch, tying the whole outdoorsy theme together.

What a wonderfully creative card! Placing the silver camper over the Grand Canyon is so inspired!
