 | | We are celebrating the 2026 Winter Olympics with VSN Go For The Gold!
Everyone knows the symbol for the Olympics, Winter or Summer, is the five interlocking rings of different colors, representing the world's five inhabited continents. To represent this symbol, Gracie's (JRHolbrook) VSN challenge is to create a Bokeh card using at least 2 of the colors in the rings. The link to that technique can be found in her challenge write-up.
I didn't have the "right" color reinkers, so I just smooshed the ink onto my glass mat, added water with a water brush, and dropped it onto the prepared watercolor paper. I think I got a really interesting color combo on my panel!
When it dried, I used the stencil and the Picket Fence Distress ink to create the bokeh effect. Stamped the greeting with Onyx Black, and then used the stencil and the gold gel pen to add a few random circles. TFL!
Come and play along with us in VSN Go For The Gold! You have until 11:00 p.m. ET Monday, February 9, 2026, to upload your creations to the VSN Gallery! |
