 | | I thought I might not be able to do my USEIT2026 card this week, but I'm squeezing it in.
After last year's Christmas cards, I had strips of beautiful window patterned paper leftover, so I decided to make a couple cards with them. This one is my favorite.
I started with the central strip of paper. Then I looked for winter images that would look good with it. Eventually, I decided on this lady with her owl, which I fussy cut from a roll of PET tape.
After that, I added the washi sticker above her, and then framed the whole piece with silver cardstock.
The larger piece of patterned paper came from a paper pack that my sister got me for my birthday. The brand name is written in Chinese, so unfortunately I couldn't list it.
After adhering everything to a slimline-sized piece of cardstock, the top and bottom looked empty, so I added the pieces of silver ribbon.
Lastly, I cut some snowflakes from the same roll of PET tape that contained the lady, and stuck them down. |
