I think printed Scrabble tiles air the way to go, because the real ones are so bulky. It's fun that both your background paper and the effect of the tied gift echo the square theme.

Great paper tiles Faith. They're much better than the real bulky ones. I have to remember this (print my own), I know I'd used them more than the wood tiles. Wonderfu card too.

The stacked Scrabble tiles look fantastic, and the depth you created makes them feel wonderfully tactile. The grid paper and tied gift echo the square theme so well, pulling the whole design together. Such a clever and fun birthday concept with great visual balance.
