 | | Two views shown for this monochrome card: (1) flat (almost) view, as first seen when taking the card out of an envelope; and (2) open view, to show there is plenty of room to write a personal note.
Easy fold card (probably a technical term for this type of folded card, but I don't know it). The fold is 2-1/4" which requires 1" to be cut off of the base cardstock. I did this because I used a 4" x 5-1/2" piece from a 6x6 DSP (to use for a different card)... the leftover strip was 2" wide which I used on the front fold of this card. This narrower width allows more of the design on the inside to be seen when card is folded flat.
I love the font of the Woven Heirlooms stamp set. Secret Sea (SU In Color) also a new favorite of mine.
All items used are Stampin' Up, except the White Dove 110lb cardstock used (although photos make the white look darker than it really is).
I'm still having fun in my craft room! I hope this inspires a few people to make their own version. |
