 | | A quick tag shaped card for today's CAS "Pets" Challenge. I decided to go with my favorite pet of all time--Snoopy. As I was cleaning up my craft room last night during the snowstorm, I found a box of manila folders and I thought to myself "what am I going to do with all these folders?" So I took one and cut one up to use as cardstock and painted it with gesso and went to bed. This morning I took the gesso covered manila folder and printed this cute image of Snoopy and Charlie Brown. The Coloring Book Creations Tutorial here suggests scanning and printing images from a coloring book. This is one that I had scanned, but hadn't gotten around to printing yet. I heat set the ink and then colored with Gelatos and rubbed to blend the color in. I didn't have quite enough coverage on the tree, so I filled it in with colored pencil. I chose "good grief" as a sentiment, and I thought it would make a good get well card next time I need one. |
