Loved Teri's colorful and artistic gallery. I 've always had a thing for Sock Monkeys, so when I saw Teri's SM card Hug Me by TeriJ at Splitcoaststampers I couldn't resist. Like her, I used a center die cut, the same heart EF and a floral background, which I clear embossed for the darker color. I fussy cut my monkey lovers, laid them on a die cut heart from one of my pale ink smooshy backgrounds from my stash, gave them a glittered heart and popped on the sentiment.

We had some well-loved sock monkeys in our home too . . . . . This is so cute and I like those embossed vines peeking out from behind the heart doily. Now back to the monkey business - it's filled with fun and the glittery heart sums up the true intent of that gent.

Such a charming and nostalgic design. The embossed floral background adds great depth, and the heart doily frames the scene so well. The sock monkeys are wonderfully fussy cut and full of personality, and the glittered heart gives the whole piece a sweet, playful finish.
