 | | For this card, I used a die from Simon Says Stamp that allows me to create my own cross stitch patterns. I found a heart design online that was slightly too large for an A2 card front, so I resized the pattern to fit a 4.25 x 5.5 panel. The heart is stitched in pink, purple, and white.
After the stitching was complete, I added a purple frame followed by a white frame and layered everything onto the finished panel.
In case anyone wonders the amount of time to stitch an entire panel and create a full background when there is no clear pattern, this took about 10 hours. The very special person getting this card is absolutely worth the effort.
