This is my first week hosting the MMTPT Challenge. When I first joined SCS, this was my first challenge I participated in, so it is especially dear to me.
This week we are sending card to the Cortese family at the request of Caterina. Little Lane has been battling for his life since he was born 4 months ago. We are sending prayers, encouragement and love. Our optional theme is sunrise or sunrise colors which I included on my card, and I drew in an eagle since the family is Auburn Fans - WAR EAGLE!
The snowy scene I painted was inspired by the cover of our church bulletin this week. The Sermon was about how big or small our God is. It was an inspiring message that had really made me reflect on my own vision of God - here is a link if you are interested:

Nancy, this is gorgeous. I’m always so impressed with your work. And how wonderful your connection to this challenge is. Your inspiration is so meaningful too, everything about this project came together beautifully. I’ll check out the message too

Such a gorgeous scene you've created, Nancy! I love that you added the eagle in flight, too. And I love the Bible verse you have used here, it's so comforting. Hugs!

Beautiful card and the scripture is so appropriate. Listening to the message you posted right now. When our God is our focus, everything else gets smaller.
