For today's tea theme at CAS....I'm a coffee drinker but I've switched to tea for the time being because 1) it's less expensive 2) I tested positive for Covid and I wanted to use honey and lemon in my morning drink. I haven't tasted or smelled much since 1/1/26 but I feel like it might be slowly coming back. Yes, the start of 2026 was not good.
This is also for yesterday's FS. I kept her neutral color scheme and the hot morning drink. Everything else is changed. I need to start using Ardyth's LIMES. Makes so much sense. Thanks for the challenges!
BTW today is the day George Orwell published 'A Nice Cup of Tea', an essay about the craft of making tea. He had 11 golden rules about it. I think that's marvelous.

What a festive card! I love the die cuts and tea bag. I like coffee in the mornings, but I switch to teas with no caffeine after noon. Sorry to hear you've been ill. Hope you are on the mend. George Orwell - I'll have to search for that essay. Thank you!!!

Love the detail of the stamped teabag bottom left, great card! Hope your sense of taste and smell is coming back. You could skip the tea and go straight for hot lemon and honey if you fancy a change, it’s lovely as well as being good for you!

The teacup and steam wreath creates such a warm, inviting focal point, and the soft neutrals make the whole design feel calm and comforting. The little stamped teabag detail in the corner adds just the right touch of whimsy. A lovely way to interpret the challenge and a beautifully balanced CAS layout.
