CAS881 = National Hot Tea Day

It would be wonderful if the sentiment were true!

I love the English dramas that I watch on PBS. Many times a cup of tea is offered as comfort. I think they say "cuppa tea."

The teacup and teapot were stamped then die cut from watercolor paper and watercolored. Steam and tea painted onto the card base. Doodled a frame.

Beautifully painted teacup and teapot, Sallie! Your stream of tea and steam look so realistic! When we lived in Southern CA, our neighbor was from England and she loved watching those English shows. She would say to us, "Hello Luv!" Sometimes I say that to my sons (in her accented voice) remembering her~

Lovely design and beautifully painted cup and teapot! Yes, with some UK accents it would sound like ‘cuppa tea’. In many parts of the country it would be abbreviated so you might say ‘Fancy a cuppa?’ meaning ‘Would you like a cup of tea?’
