 | | Welcome to the TLC for today! Today we're going to explore the art of sgrafitto, which is Italian for 'scratching'.
Usually sgrafitto is used in making pottery but there are ways to apply it to card making. In this example, I used a dark blue watercolor paint on watercolor paper and, while still wet, scratched a design into the wc. The paint collects in the scratches. There are other ways to do this; I have two more cards using other mediums. Hope you have some fun giving it a try. PS I'd say using watercolor is the easiest and quickest way. |
