CAS880 - my friend Pam has asked for Quiet Reflections

You may not think of a lighthouse as a quiet place but it can be. Our lighthouse has benches facing the lake or the Grand River. You can sit there & catch the breeze, watch the lake & maybe even a freighter come into or out of the port. The best part is no one will bother you - except maybe the seagulls.
So this is my quiet reflection.

Karen, your card brought back memories of my hometown and its lighthouse on the shores of Lake Erie. I loved the sound of the foghorn too....a thing of the past I'm sure with all the electronic navigation they have now. Your card has a beautiful peacefulness to it which the soft coloring enhances. Lovely!

The soft pencil work gives this lighthouse such a calm, steady presence, and the open space around it really reinforces that sense of quiet reflection you described.
