I had just about half an hour to make and photograph a card before we went out for the day. DH thinks this is very soft and muted compared to the one in the tutorial, but it's the look I was going for, sort of old-fashioned and nostalgic. This time I remembered to make my strips as wide as the tutorial suggests - the first couple of times I made them very narrow and it was more fiddly. My top tip is to use a large address label (I used half of a full page label) to stick the first set of strips on to.

Very pretty to continue the pattern paper in the sentiment. ir really makes that pattern in the bargello stand out. I LOVE it.

Good tip! Never remember that I have labels. I like the soft look and the pattern.

Love the colours you used. Your panel reminds me of old upholstery. Backing your sentiment with black really made it stand out nicely. Great card!

What a lovely colour combo! The bargello looks so cool. I remember doing one of these at DTGD once but I keep forgetting about it, lol. The black around the text is perfect.
