TLC1088 - Karen wants to see our Bargello Technique

I think I did the procedure right but chose the wrong paper. I used a pad of American Krafts paper I got at $General. The paper itself is fine, just not together like this. I might try this again later ... if we don't blow away!! I can't believe this wind we are having - up to 60mph they say, along with snow blowing sideways!! I may try again with different papers.

I like the colours, a sort of rainbow look, and the different bits of pattern in them really add to the overall look. The staggered sentiment works really well, too.

Karen, I find nothing wrong with your bargello. Like Sabrina said it sort of has a rainbow look. I'm thinking more like summer sherbets. with a dabble of blueberry and vanilla. Well done.

I think the arrangement of your colors gives this a unique design in that it brings a larger block of each color together. I agree that the staggered sentiment is perfect for the card.

I think you were smart to not 'fussy' up the background and use a diecut sentiment. I think it looks great.
