More details on my blog:
Layers of ink
I had a gift box which I got sometime ago, with I believe chocolates inside and decided to alter it into a gift box. Use a different paper if you want to make it for another theme.
The box had a nice floral pattern on the lid, that I didn't want to cover up. I used patterned paper to alter the box, and gesso and paint for the lid. There are sentiments stamped on each side.
Cover the base with patterned paper and paint the lid with gesso. When dry, dry brush Pumice Stone paint on the lid. This makes the pattern stand out better.
Die cut the hearts from silver vellum and cardstock and layer. Place on the lid. Stamp sentiments, add gems and ribbons.
Thank you so much for looking!
Happy stamping!
