A quick card for Jen's Teapot Tuesday challenge today: MMTPT908 - December 16, 2025 - A Peaceful Window by Jennifrann at Splitcoaststampers
Something close to my heart, as my brother-in-law died from ALS just under two years ago. My first thought was the Window Dressing set, but I didn't have a lot of time, so this embossing folder from Sizzix is great for a quick card. Inside I stamped French Flair in a blue ink - earlier this year when we had a house guest, I brought him to a nearby stately home on one of the days I was free and DH was working. One of the downstairs rooms had been converted into a bedroom at the time when the then owner was ill and confined to bed - it gave him views over the garden but they had also painted the ceiling like a cloudy sky with some birds flying around. I have a photo of it in this blog post: https://mymiscellany-cook22.blogspot...avourites.html
I will probably stamp a scripture on the back before I write and mail this.

So beautifully designed, Sabrina. Loved reading about the home you visited with the bedroom that looked out on a garden and the bird paintings on the ceiling.

Such pretty flowers by your window. Thanks for the link to the post with the home with the sky on the ceiling. It was a great inspiration for your card, Sabrina.

Perfect card for this challenge. Love your use of the shutter for the windowbox. Also, thanks for the link to the house with the sky on the ceiling. Beautiful.
