 | | For Dina's MIX today: MIX671 Center Step Card (12/5/25) by dini at Splitcoaststampers
I had a possible peaceful not too festive card set aside for a friend whose oldest son was killed in a car crash earlier this year, but if possible I wanted to make one especially for her, and this is it. To make it quick I cut the side papers from a stash piece of one of those 4-in-1 collage stamped backgrounds (4-in-1 Collage Background Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers ), lurking in my stash since 2021, and I think that already qualifies as more than one medium because I can see splatters of gold paint - but in any case, my Holy Night is cut from a piece of black glossy card dabbed with Lumiere paints and then pressed against another piece - also from my stash. I stamped the inside of the frame with Gorgeous Grunge spatter in Pumice Stone, added a few die-cut stars in matt gold and used one of my old tomato paste tubes to cut an extra star for the top of the die-cut. Stamped the sentiment from Peaceful Wishes on the base front strip and embossed with black EP - it's subtle but there. |
