I followed the fun video by Ellen Crimini Trent that Kia has us painting for the weeks Watercolor Challenge to achieve an loose abstract effect. I think the paper I used didn t give a good pull of color, so I had to add colors to get a washed effect. Perhaps because I let it dry overnight it may have dried too much. In the floral one (when I try it) I will use a different watercolor paper and not let it dry for as long. I hesitated to add the splatters but did it anyway.

Gorgeous Suz. I had problems with my first effort but I found it was the paints I used. It was a great video and I love your version. Tfs I like the splatters.
