So this was an interesting teaparty. When I saw the teapot teaser I had a card completely planned out. I recently got a small die cut of film strip and had some vintage images that fit the strip nicely. Ha! All that changed when the challenge came out. There was no way my initial idea was going to fit that challenge. So what is my favourite movie? I love phychological thrillers. But when I make cards I really don't like dark themes much. What a dilemma. I chose Fracture, a 2007 thriller starring Anthony Hopkins and Ryan Gosling. How does my card fit this movie? Well, one must have a warped sense of humor and a deep reach to make this fit.
1. The style of card is called fracture.
2. The faux frost finish gives the impression of fractured ice.
3. My cute sloth has a fractured limb.
My inside sentiment says "You deserve a break today". Sure hope the recipient has a sense of humour too.
Here is a trailer to the movie.

Oh, Vicky, you've been so creative in showing "fractured." I'm super impressed. (When I saw the sloth, I thought it was going to be Zootopia.) The movie looks very dark and twisty.

A great write-up. I agree with you on not really making cards with a dark theme, although I know it works for some personalities it's not me. This is lovely, I always like that sloth image. Your faux frost is cool.
I love how you tied your card into the movie. Although, I have never heard of or seen it. Great techniques and I love sloths! Our grandson works at a animal preserve and is always posting photos of him with a cute sloth.
