Today's card is a cozy winter wonderland created for both the SCS Inspiration Challenge and the Mix Challenge. I started with blended blues and stamped the beautiful Threads background from SweetMissDaisy Designs for texture. Once it dried, I splattered white paint for snowe"my favorite part!
The lovely Winter Scene image is die cut with a retired scalloped frame die (still a favorite!), adhered to the background, and popped up for dimension. A few die-cut snowflakes and a heartfelt sentiment finish everything off.
For the Mix Challenge, we were asked to identify the Composition Type. I think I ended up with a Tunnel composition, since the eye is drawn straight toward the center of the winter scene. At least that's the story I'm sticking to! And the Inspiration Challenge? A stunning blue snowman ornament!
