Watercolor Winter

This was very difficult to pull off. The birch trees were way easier than the Christmas tree, which was an absolute doozy. Let me know what you think!

Oh, so happy to see you join this WCW challenge. I agree that the birch trees with the tape are easy and I also think your Christmas tree looks great with a pretty shape. I see you got limbs on the birch trees which I forgot. duh I really like the leafless limbs in the background, also. You made a wonderful wintry scene.

Nice painting with the birch trees and the Christmas tree is well done. I like the depth you created with your other elements. Thanks for joining us. Hope to see you more. TFS

I absolutely agree with you and its kind of an odd mix unless you know you had your home as near a forest where you could decorate the evergreen trees. I love how winter-y feeling you got this scene with your falling snow.

Keri, you did a fabulous job on this! Great birch trees and your Christmas tree looks wonderful (I skipped it). Super snow and branches too. So glad you jumped in and created this lovely painting. Hugz

I wasn't happy with my Christmas tree neither, but your painting isn't bad at all, and I love the birch trees too

Evergreen trees are hard for me too. So dense but some openings and variety too. I think you did a fab job.

Keri: You are doing so great with the challenges. And most look better as the paint gets dryer (watercolor magic). So glad you are trying more challenges. It can be stressful but in a good way.
