Our Challenge for our Friday ZOOM Stamping group was to use five different Paint chip samples that were mailed to us by one of the group members. I had just received my new Christmas Greenery stamps and dies and had them sitting on my stamp table. Three of my paint chip samples were fairly large pieces, the other two were the kind with various strips of color. I first cut the large pine boughs. Then I cut my bow. I stamped just the flowers on one of the narrow strips, but discovered that the ink would not dry on them, so I had to clear emboss those. I added a bit of shading with my SU Blends. I fussy cut the flowers. I still needed to use two other sample pieces, so I found a small pine sprig die that would fit on the skinny strips and die cut several in two shades of green and then punched some 1/8 inch rust colored circles for berries. I arranged all of these on a slimline Mossy Meadow panel. Then I gold embossed a greeting. I added some wink of Stella to disguise some messy gluing efforts and then splattered some gold glitter pen on the panel. I mounted this to a Petal Pink slimline card.
EDIT: I just realized my original photo had a dimensional backing stuck in the pine bough. Hee hee.
