I just love sunflowers. They make me happy. They stand tall & are always seeking the warmth of the sun. My favorite technique is the Blackout embossing. I kinda like using purple for the background instead of black. Amethyst ep, Heat gun.

beautiful, with an absolute perfect sentiment. I like the phrase: not all storms come to disrupt lives, some come to clear paths... and this card reminds me of that saying.

I think blackout embossing is great with other colours - dark blue is my favourite but I can see why you would like purple. It's a great combination with the sunflowers, and I totally agree that they are a very happy-making flower. We were sorry that we were later on holidays this year and most of the sunflower fields we passed had finished flowering, but we did get to see a few sunny fields.

Wow, this is so beautiful! Love your take on the blackout technique, to use a different color for the background than black! The purple really makes those lovely sunflowers just pop!

I was just going to say I love the look of the purple instead of the black! Especially as a complement to the yellow sunflowers. You really rocked this challenge, Lesley!
