I made a tag with a textured inky background, textured mushrooms made from collage paper and additional texture in the shape of cheese cloth and gems.
To make the collage paper, adhere torn pieces of old book paper with matte medium. Add a layer of medium on top. When dry, coat with gesso. Die cut the mushrooms from the paper.
Paint the mushrooms with Distress Paint. Shape and adhere with foam tape.
White emboss grasses in the background. Smear Distress Ink on a non-stick craft sheet, mist with water and press the tag into the ink. Let dry and repeat until you are happy with the look. Finish with a little Distress Oxide Ink.
