I chose this card as my inspiration:
Hearts on a String by maria031767 at Splitcoaststampers
LIST: Colours (white, pink, yellow, orange, red) , Techniques (die cutting, stamping) , Elements (hearts on vertical âstringsâ on the left side, white open space on right side, stamped sentiment in bottom right corner)
INCLUDE: red, white, âstringsâ, pattern on left, white space on right
MODIFY: stenciled ornaments instead of die cut hearts, die cut sentiment in a different position
EXCLUDE: hearts,
SPIN: added 3 silver dot embellishments
I created lots of âdimensionâ and âshineâ on my ornaments by inkblending around the edge of each ornament shape on the stencil, leaving a highlight in the centre. I used Rouge as a base for all of the ornaments, and added Sauna, Flirty Fuchsia and Party Dress to some of them, to create different shades of red. |
