Suz (pixordia) is hosting this week's WCW challenge and has a wonderful tutorial for us.
The artist is Ellen Crimi-Trent and the tutorial is Watercolor Painting Ideas Christmas Demo.
Instead of the gingerbread man I traced partially around and painted a star because I love stars for Christmas and I only painted one candy cane. I added a gold sticker from Flower Soft to the red ornament and because I got my painted image a bit high I added a glittery tape underneath the sentiment to have more balance. I added some white stripes to the other ornament with my gel pen.
I had fun painting and hope you will join us this week.

Love that you customized this Christmas envelope. Great painting. I really like the star on an angle in the envelope. Not easy to draw it like that I think. Super card!

I love that you tucked in a star here, this is so very pretty Brenda, the star is the focal for me and you got two ornaments tucked in. I like how you did your foliage as well. I am in such amazement over the ease you guys are sketching these designs.

This beautiful Christmas card brought a smile this morning. I love how festive and colorful it is. I have been trying to hold off on my Christmas decorating until at least mid- November but it's getting harder to do when I see such cute stuff!
