 | | I have been following the artist for today's TLC for quite a while so thanks, Beverly, for pushing me to try this. I have these botanical inks that I thought would be perfect, haven't used them a lot and they come with a pipette. I got a little impatient and probably removed things too early. It's a mixed bag, a good imprint of a leaf on the left and the start of one on the right. The gold spaces were larger leaves where the ink didn't get underneath. I used some sticks and you can see their marks. I decided to add on the F4A from last Friday; I love collage and just used some things that were recently given to me or were easy to grab. The circle with the vase is from a brochure for an art show earlier in the fall, the postage stamps aren't real, I used some handmade paper and a faux ticket and stuck on a stone that I picked up a few weeks ago on the shores of Lake Superior. This was very fun and I will play with this again. My leaves were kind of wet and curly so it was hard to keep them down. I did put something heavy on it for a while. Thanks, Beverly! |
