I chose this card for my inspiration from Kris' gallery.
Sea Turtles Waving Hello by Kilkenny at Splitcoaststampers
I used the same stamp set for the turtles. I followed Kris' directions to color 1 of the turtles and spritzing it with water then stamping. The other two I colored the stamp with the lighter two markers then did the thumping technique with the blueberry marker. Here is the tutorial for that technique. I fussy cut the turtles and added them with dimensionals. I used my blending brushes to add the sand and water. I used torn paper to give the sand texture. I stamped the bubbles in versamark then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I added the netting with boho blue then wiped the ink from the bubbles. Lastly I added the sentiment. This will go on a dinner tray at a local hospital. |
