 | | Our challenge was to make a card using the bargello technique going from warm to cool colors. Here is the challenge. Bargello Technique Tutorials at Splitcoaststampers
I cut strips of Thoughtful Journey designer paper as described in the tutorial. I glued my paper into the pattern I wanted. I wanted only a partial panel of the bargello paper so I trimmed it so the black paper would show. I colored the mouse with Copic Markers then colored his notebook and pencil with Prismacolor Watercolor pencils. I die cut the little guy and added him with dimensionals to the card. I stamped the sentiment on white paper and punched it out of white paper. I punched the scalloped heart from Thoughtful Journey designer series paper and layered it behind the sentiment. The heart was added with dimensionals. This will go on a dinner tray at a local hospital. |
