I finally used up the bundle of brown embroidery floss that had been hanging on the back of my craft chair, gifted by my MIL from a friend's stash-clearing spree, and I am so glad it found its purpose on this card.
For the design, I die cut the panel using a Spellbinders die and stitched it with the brown variegated floss. It is layered onto coordinating brown cardstock, and I finished it off with a birthday banner popped up on dimensionals.
I think this makes a great masculine card, and I am genuinely thrilled to have that floss off my chair and onto something meaningful!
