This card is for today's alphabet challenge letter O for oil can using today's sketch challenge for the layout. Where is my oil can you ask? It is my black ice background. When I went looking for images of vintage oil cans, they looked kind of metallic and grungy and among the many photos I saw, there were a few red ones so my background is inspired by a red vintage oil can.
I stamped my acorns and punched them out and heat embossed the sentiment and popped it with dimensionals.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

That is a really cool card. I love how your used the acorn shadow.
I'm so glad you included the link to the technique. It's a cool technique that I'm going to have to give a shot someday!

Your interpretation of the black ice technique is so clever and evocative—transforming it into a tribute to vintage oil cans with that rich red metallic background is inspired. The acorns add such warmth and seasonal charm, and the embossed sentiment gives it a polished finish. I love how you wove the sketch and alphabet challenges together with such creativity and intention.
