 | | Congratulations Carrie on being this weeks Featured Stamper. I had fun looking through your gallery where I found this pretty Xmas Pudding card to case.
Things I Changed: Different color scheme, different image, Real ribbon instead of die cut bow, kept the glitter but left off the gems.
Stamped and watercolored my Christmas Mouse, added a bit of glitter, then framed in Christmas Red.
I liked the dramatic look of Carrie's card but felt like I needed to lighten my color scheme to accomodate the darker ribbon I had chosen. I started with a light blue panel and randomly stamped small snowflakes with versamark for a subtle tone on tone design, then stamped my sentiment with Jet Black. I wrapped this panel with my plaid christmas ribbon which I adorned with a fun Spellbinders Ironworks Accent edge.
When all is said and done, the hardest part of this card was trying to decide on the right ribbon.
