Linda is hosting the WCW280 challenge this week. I sketched some of mine but wanted a country village and used a stamp for that. My card is for Thanksgiving and I thought that fit better for what I needed. The rest is sketched and all is watercolored.
The tutorial is Watercolor Landscape Painting and the artist is Liesl's Artistic Studio: Watercolor
Hope you will join in this week for some fun watercoloring.

I knew youâd be all over this, Benz, my friendđ What a quaint village you have watercoloured. I always love driving by little tree surrounded villages that dot the landscape and seeing little white clapboard churches with their prominent steeples nestled in like a mother hen watching over her brood. This conjures up every nostalgic memory of those scenes. Love it. So perfect for Thanksgiving. Our tribe gathers this weekend in Canada.

you know, I almost did that so I am grinning that you did. ( a fall colors scene) this is so heartwarming and I love that the leaves are falling in the scene as well.

Wow - WOW! Brenda, this is so lovely! You know how much I love your little village scenes, and this one is no exception! Glad to hear you still have fall colors to look forward to... ours are more or less done for in the great (frigid!) up north today! (it was 26 degrees when I woke up. Not a fan of that just yet... haha)

Oh this turned out so sweet. I love your choice of the little village, while retaining the whimsical colors of the tutorial. Your colorful tree is so beautiful.
