This week we are following a video by Liesl's Artistic Studio. painting a watercolor Landcape
I watched the video and then lightly sketched my scene. I mixed some paints using Windsor and Newton Cotman, Aliz Crimson, Diox Purple, Ultramine, Cad Orange,Van dyke Brown.
My initial wash turned out darker than I wanted but I continued on with painting the rest of the scene. To me it seems a bit muddy. I may try this again as time allows. Busy months ahead so not any time soon. Thanks Linda for the fun challenge.

I love how cohesive your colors are and the splatters a lot Suz, this is totally the kind of colors I try to make, muted ones. I don't see them as muddy.

I think your title describes your painting perfectly, Suz. Your palette totally created the effect of twilight, all while keeping the originally intended whimsey. It’s a WIN😊

Wow, I love how you made this your own. Some really cool mix of colors and patterns and brush strokes. I really, really like how this came out, Suz. I said the same thing to myself about trying again, but it will have to be some time farther in the future too. Beautiful painting. Hugz
