 | | This is for this week's Featured Stamper Deb (debmoloughney). Combined these lovely cards:
Sympathy by debmoloughney at Splitcoaststampers
French Tulip by debmoloughney at Splitcoaststampers
I used a lot from the second card - close to her design and colors. I used my BG stamp to make the shadow area and added text throughout.
This ended up looking quite a bit like my other recent cards, but, I'm ok with that. I started off making this without a recipient in mind. But, almost immediately I thought of a friend whose bday is in October. I haven't sent her a card for years, but, now I can!! Yay!
I am also participating in the challenge over at Time Out Challenges - #298:
https://timeoutchallenges.blogspot.c...lenge-298.html
I used 5 out of the 6 choices - season, spatter, metallic, edge and monochrome (roughly).
I learned a vocabulary lesson in the process. I didn't realize there was a difference in spatter and splatter. Spatter is smaller where splatter is larger. Huh. So, I used a marker to add spatter..
