I had no painting for August and only a quick one for September, so despite the splint I painted yesterday. I probably over did it and the joint being splinted is sore, but I managed to finish it. Because Matthew's tutorials are based on large sizes I missed out some of the little details to make a calendar sized painting. Back to the clinic on Thursday and hoping to start making progress without the splint.

Janine, one word: WOW. This is INCREDIBLE! I didn't realize you had such a talent with a brush, but this is gallery-worthy! Thank you SO much for sharing! I now simply must check out the artist you reference to see if he can lead the painting blind (like myself) to better watercolor waters!
