| | The tag on this project started as a card front for my sons 23rd BD, and was inspired by Tim Holtzâs recent Christmas in July tutorial, but I started this project early and things got a bit out of hand. I had fun trying a lot of different techniques. I like the grunge vibe, even when doing a rainbow themed project. This was done on a vignette box which the sides of which cannot be seen in the pic, but which are decorated in collage strips cut up to keep to the rainbow theme, as well as grungy washi tape, then covered with crackle paste. The finger points to the small green envelope, which has a special gift inside. The whole piece sits upright on a small easel I found at goodwill. |
