 | | I had started water coloring this image yesterday in hopes it would fit something coming up soon as I wanted to play with it. I did assume it could take a while and since it takes time for paint to dry and me walking away from them that's OK in my world... and Then I found this gorgeous *gasp* worthy card in Keri's gallery last evening and and I thought, that is so rich and I love the depth and textures could you tweak this to go that away... and this is what I did. Embedding the painting behind a Circle opening instead of florals and ovals.I did use an Xacto knife to cut out the bits of Holly & Pine to tuck through the opening and then used some DOX to ink over that white edge. I also added some stickles for sparkle instead of shimmer and then tied the sentiment tag on the ric rac with a bow instead of a big beautiful bow. There is a crop shot here on the blog. Keri, I hope you like this and enjoy your week. Thanks for this challenge Arydth & tfl. |
