I played with watercolors today. It was messy, because I decided I was going to use some old tubes I had or trash them. I couldn't get the paint out the top, so cut the tubes to get it out that way. You know, we crafters hate to waste anything! LOL. Anyway trashed some. I will probably trash the rest next time.
I painted three pumpkins and didn't like any, but went ahead and used this one on a tag. I am definitely out of my comfort zone doing these challenges, but am willing to try and learn. BTW, I so have newer watercolors, but just cleaning out my room.

I am so glad to see this pretty tag. I think your pumpkin looks great and I like the bit of eucalyptus and berries you painted so as not to overwhelm your tag. I am so glad you are learning along with us. I love your plaid ribbon, too.

Your pumpkin painting is fantastic. I especially admire the white space you left for the highlights. That is not easy to do. Glad you are joining us weekly. We all learn from each video. We can relate to not wasting anything in the craft room. I will have to live to be one hundred to use everything.

I think you did great, Sharon. I agree this wasn 't
as easy as the artist made it look. It is lovely tag for Fall. I also found that when those fails dry, they sometimes look better than you thought. So glad you are joining us on WCW.

I love that you made this a tag first of all and you had the perfect fibers for the top of this painting Sharon. I think we have all been there on the paint thing. ( I ended up tossing the entire box my mama had)
one thing I tend to do now with tubes is when I open them I tend to fill half pans with the paint and let it dry in those and I don't fight with trying to keep all those threads clean enough to open and re open. ( just a couple of gouache tubes)
