CC1068 Fall Bucket
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: suen

I'm a guest designer for the CC challenge for the month of September. Roberta picked pool party, early espresso and crumb cake, plus any 4th color for dessert. I made a woodgrain BG panel, following Karen Dunbrook's tutorial from Jan. of 2016, using speckled egg, tumbled glass, weathered wood and classic craft. The coal bucket and fall greenery were cut from various smooshed watercolor BG's I've made, including green which is my 4th color. Thanks for looking.

Wonderful. I love the wood-grain background and thought it was paper. Then, I read your description. You did an amazing job creating it! I like the fall bucket. You used the challenge colors beautifully and the green was a nice addition. Lovely card. Thanks for the inspiration!

Sue, what a special mix of autumn items in your bucket! I adore the splatters you added to them. Your bg is really fun and adds great texture to your lovely bucket~

Love the background panel on your card Sue and all the Fall imagery in the bucket. The ink blending on the bucket looks great. Welcome to the team for September.

What a stunning card. Such a creative way to use these colors. Welcome fellow guest designer. I love that there are 2 Sue's this month! I can't believe how differently we all interpreted these colors. It's amazing the talent that is here. Your card has so many wonderful and different textures to look at. Beautifully done.

Great card! I love the assorted foliage in your bucket -- especially the cattails and ***** willows. The speckling on everything adds so much.

Fabulous card, Sue. I love the woodgrain background and also the varied shading on several of the elements. I've done that in the past, too, using watercolored panels or smooshed panels to die-cut elements. It is a great technique; thanks for reminding me about it!
