Featured Stamper challenge, rewind to 2008, inspired by Mary Jo Albright's Just Chicken Up card. (FS55)
Mary Jo's card is so cute and sweet! I just love all the fun things she added. However, I kept things a little simpler with fewer layers and no ribbon. We both feature a farm girl, extra flowers in our design, and similar colors.
I layered Garden Girl on a tag and a base of brown script patterned paper. Lastly, I tucked wildflowers behind the tag for added interest.Garden Girl and the Letters & Ledgers patterned paper are from SweetMissDaisy Designs.

I'm glad you kept Mary Jo's color combo which is classy, sassy and perfect for fall - but I definitely agree that sometimes "simpler is better".
I love that this design puts your gal front and center (so to speak) even though she's offset a bit. The darker bg with the text makes that tag POP and your die cuts pick up the accent colors of the focal image beautifully.
