Finally getting at the Christmas challenges this month. This is for Ann's challenge-ding dong was the prompt. I chose the animated Christmas tree for the IC because it plays 'Carol of the Bells.'
No stamping, just rub-ons. The gold background is a Scrapbook.com set. Never one to be daunted by failure, even though the gold sheet did not transfer well, I cut out part of it that did work ok and then added another company's rub-ons for the bells. Hello December, indeed! The silver rub-ons from the same set worked perfectly so no clue what went wrong.
Thanks for these challenges!

What a festive and joyful creation—those rub-ons bring such charm and character to the design, especially the silver ones that shimmer like winter magic. I love how you embraced the imperfections and turned them into a beautifully layered piece. The star sequins and red Stickles add just the right touch of sparkle, and the musical inspiration makes this card feel like it's singing straight from the heart. A delightful way to welcome December!

That is cool that such an intricate rub on worked like this, ( I used to call them rub offs when I was using them as single words on scrapbook pages ha ha a million years ago) so, I have not picked up any of the newer versions of them at all and I love how detailed it is and how the peeks through. the distressing of the some of the gold parts on the edge just gives it that aged look without being grungy aged.
