Congratulations Lee Mae aka adopted2 on being this week's Featured Stamper. I had a great time looking through your gallery and was inspired by this Forgotten 4 Paws card.
Things I changed: Lee Mae had several windows and Cats, I made 1 large window and 1 Cat; Changed Thank you to Christmas theme, different Cat & Sentiment Stamps
I have a friend who is a "crazy cat lady" and wanted to make her a special Christmas card and Lee's card made me think of my own crazy cat stamp. My friend always complains that her cat can manage to knock down any decoration no matter where she puts it.
I started by building a big bay window using snowy DSP to make my outdoor scene and framed it indoors with curtains fashioned from parchment. I stamped some ornaments hanging in the window using markers to color the baubles. Added a tan strip at the bottom for a window sill. I stamped the cat on WC paper, painted then fussy cut so I could get the placement right - straddling the curtains and ornament. Finished with a sentiment in Crimson Red.
This also fits the August Fan Club Christmas Challenge found HERE

Wow, Linda, this is soooo fun and so cool. Love your window scene you created (you did a fab job on those curtains) and the kitty is so perfect for your friend. This is a card you friend will always remember. Love it! Hugz

Oh my gosh, what a cute card, Linda! The kitty hanging on the curtains, in the bay window is so fun! The parchment paper for the curtains is brilliant!

What a fun inspired kitty card - she's looking back and her face seems to say 'sorry, not sorry!' She's enjoying hanging there and I can see her next stop is to swing from ornament to ornament! Very fun image!
