Suz gave us a video on using salt to make cherry blossoms. The video by Emma was informative, but I was not successful in creating the blooms like hers. I did try several times. I will keep practicing. TFL Come join us and show us your success.

A pretty scene. I think the salt working depends on the pigments but I haven't tried today

All salt aside, your painting turned out to be wonderful. I have done this technique a number of times and you never know when it will bomb. I have used table salt and kosher salt. The different kinds of salt can impact your results too.
