My card for Debbie who has come up on her 1st Anniversary w/o her husband is a mile stone for her. So for my card to Debbie I created a card with the Bargello technique. I never used this technique before until today. I will definitely try it again.
The flower center was created from a punch bunch punch.

It's a great technique (so long as you don't go too.small with the strips, then it's a pain!) and looks gorgeous in those papers. The yellow and blue is such a lovely combination.

Great card! I love the background -- wonderful mix of colors and bold patterns. Your foliage strikes a perfect balance of standing out from the background while also coordinating with it.
