MMTPT885 Crimped Courage
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: Cook22

For Jacqueline's Teapot Tuesday challenge today: MMTPT885 – July 8, 2025 – Gone But Not Forgotten by jacqueline at Splitcoaststampers

I used the crimped diamond tutorial - it was linked recently in a WT tutorial for corrugated card, I think. I looked for a sentiment which would fit the diamond shape. After smudging my orange Stickles first time round (and that orange one really stains the card, I can tell you) I had to stamp the diamond panel again. And I managed to smudge it again, but only at the very bottom of the two sprays, so I added a very old peel-off butterfly sticker on acetate coloured with Sakura glaze pens to cover it up rather than start again. I added punched flowers and little die-cut leaves to finish it off.

You got it all! I almost went with crimping but the poppin pastels came to mind first so I went with that. I like the way your did fancy crimping.

Sabrina, your corrugated card is amazing! I love the diamond shape for the sentiment. So pretty! I always heard it said that there are no mistakes in paper crafting that a well placed embellishment can't fix!

I have tried that before. I don't remember it turning out so beautifully for me, but wow, this is magnificent!

One would never think you had such challenges in creating this card. It is wow, beautiful. Great crimping. I'll have to try that technique.

Beautiful card, and I love your design with the diamond-shape in the middle! I have a crimper, and never think to use it! Thanks for the reminder! Glad you persevered thru all your challenges to end up with this lovely creation!

Great card! I love the butterfly -- it reminds me of stained glass. I would never guess that you put it there to cover up a mistake. It looks so organic placed between the two sprigs.
