Poster: lazylizard

Wow, Karen, this was such a fun challenge. I smash inked some distress inks on my white paper, then I inked and embossing folder to add a little more texture to the background. It really turned out cool when I cut and flipped the paper. My image is a Power Poppy digial that I fussy cut and colored. The sentiment is from Gina K and stamped with versafine black ink.

What a gorgeous result from the flip strip technique—the distressed inked background has such vibrant depth, and flipping the embossed strips adds so much texture and energy. Your fussy-cut blooms look absolutely radiant against it, and the bold sentiment grounds everything with elegance. A fantastic combination of mixed media with a wonderfully fresh layout!
